What is the minimum order amount? TOP
There is a minimum of 12 cookies per order. Unlike other bakeries, we do allow you to mix up to three different designs to complete the dozen.
How long does it take to receive my cookies? TOP
All of our cookies are baked fresh and custom decorated for the date of your event. Orders of 3 dozen or less require a 3 day lead time. Larger orders may require up to 5 days. Please feel free to call us to discuss a timeframe if you would like to place a large order. We are happy to provide cookies with a shorter lead time, but there will be a "rush" fee attached to the order.
What is the shelf life of your cookies? TOP
Our cookies have a shelf life of approximately 12 days after date of delivery. The cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months in an airtight container. To defrost simply let them come to room temperature inside the container to prevent the frosting from sweating due to the change in temperature.
Do your cookies contain preservatives? TOP
Our cookies do not contain preservatives. We bake our cookies to order and only use the freshest ingredients.
Do your cookies contain nuts? TOP
Our cookies are completely nut free. Although, we do bake our cookies in a commercial kitchen. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that products that contain nuts, and or other allergens, are not produced at the same facility.
How far in advance can I place an order? TOP
We realize that when planning a large event many people prefer to complete their check list early. Therefore, we are happy to accept orders up to a year in advance. We will contact you two weeks before the event date to confirm your order and review the final number and design.
Can you personalize cookies? TOP
Yes, we are happy to personalize any cookie at no additional charge.
How are your cookies packaged? TOP
Our cookies come packaged in our signature pink bakery box. We also offer the option to have each cookie individually wrapped in a cello bag and tied with a coordinating ribbon for an additional fee of .25 per cookie. We would also be happy to use any personalized ribbon or special bag that you provide at no additional cost.
How do you add an edible image such as a photograph or corporate logo to your cookies? TOP
We create edible images by printing with food coloring onto frosting sheets. The printing options are only limited by your imagination. You can e-mail images to lisa@pembrokecookie.com in jpeg format. If you prefer to send an original, we will scan the item in and return it to you upon delivery. One thing to note is that when using food coloring as ink it can sometimes be difficult to get an exact match to the original image's color. The difference is usually very minimal, and we would work with you to ensure your complete satisfaction, as with any order.
Is there sales tax? TOP
There is no sales tax required for your order.
Can I check the status of my order? TOP
You can check the status of your order by calling 781.799.4518 between the hours of 10a.m. and 6p.m. EST Monday through Saturday, or by e-mailing me at lisa@pembrokecookie.com anytime.
What forms of payment are accepted? TOP
We are actively working to incorporate online ordering and credit card payments into our site. Until that time, we only accept cash or checks.
Do you have a retail store? TOP
We do not currently have a retail storefront, although, that is a goal that we are actively working towards. Currently, our cookies are baked at a Board of Health approved commercial kitchen. Pickup and delivery of cookies will be determined at the time of order. Local delivery within Pembroke is free of charge.
Do you ship cookies? TOP
We are happy to ship cookies anywhere in the continental US. Please contact us to discuss shipping timeframes and rates.
What if my cookies arrive broken? TOP
We make every effort to ensure that our cookies arrive at their location in perfect condition. Sometimes during shipping it is possible that cookies can crack due to circumstances beyond our control. Therefore, if you receive your order and more than 2 cookies are damaged please contact us within 24 hours. We may require a photo in order to submit a damage claim to the shipping agency. We will then work with you to make arrangements for replacement cookies.

Do you require a down payment for large orders? TOP
For orders of 4 dozen or more cookies we do require a 50% deposit.
What is your cancellation policy? TOP
